Another Challenge

Hello everyone!  Today was an odd today.  Poor Mitch's company truck wouldn't start so I had to drive him to work this morning... the one day Bradleigh was still asleep when he left (she's usually up between 6:30 and 7:00am) his truck won't start.  Go figure!

This card was made for a daughter of a member of our church who was in a very tragic car accident last Friday night in VA.  Amanda has pins in her ankle, a broken leg, a lot of bruising, damage to her face and the roof of her mouth and had lost her right eye.  She is stationed in NJ with the Air Force.  Thankfully, she is now breathing on her own and awake.  Thank you, God!  She will need extensive rehabilitation and has a long road ahead of her.  I only hope this card -- along with the prayers of many, will bring her some comfort in the coming months.

This card was also made using the colors from Kristina's Color Inspiration -- her 13th, to be exact.  The challenge was to use Purely Pomegranate, Regal Rose, River Rock, Wild Wasabi and Whisper White.  Here is what I came up with:

PrayingForYou

Stamps:   Embrace Life, So Many Sayings (Retired Level One Hostess Set)

Ink:  Purely Pomegranate, Regal Rose, Whisper White Craft

Cardstock:  Whisper White, Cardstock Vellum, River Rock, Purely Pomegranate and Regal Rose

Accessories:  Aquapainters, White Gel Pen, White Embossing Powder and Wild Wasabi Stitched Ribbon

Enjoy your day!
